“TECHSAGA 2K18”

is an intercollegiate event which aims at providing a platform for the young and dynamic Engineering students to explore their technical innovative ideas and further inspiring them for the basic building blocks of Engineering & Technology through various technical activities. About 2,000 students participated in the two-day youth festival conducted at the national level which was a combination of technical and fun events. The various departments organized competitions related to their streams to apply their knowledge in practical life.

Extreme Bubble Battle

Robo Race
 The team should consist of 3 members.
 Each member from same college is not mandatory.
 The robot should follow the robot specifications provided. Any deviation from the mentioned specifications will lead to disqualification.
 Once the race begins, Five hand touches are allowed, if your taking hand touch you have to start from last check point.
 No test practice will be allowed on the main arena.
 Terminals for charging the battery will not be provided in the college.
 The arena may subject to change before the commencement of any round.
 If the Robot crosses a checkpoint, and moves off track, then the Robot would be placed back on the previous checkpoint crossed.
 The decision of the judges will be final and abiding. Argument with judges in any form will lead to the disqualification of the team.
Extreme Bubble Battle 2k18
 ROUND 1 :- SUMO SMASH
Three Players will enter a ring wearing their bubble balls. Players must force their opponent to move out of the ring to win.
 ROUND 2 :- FOOTCELL
Round 1 cleared players will have a football match with a pair of two.
 ROUND 3 :- ROYAL RUMBLE
Round 2 cleared player will have a rumble fight. Players will enter the ring in intervals of 15-30 seconds, and the last player standing in the ring win be the WINNER

The Hunter Games

EnGenius:
General Rules:


• Only team entries are eligible.

• A team shall consist of two members mandatory.
• The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
• Use of mobile is strictly prohibited. • The questions shall be in the form of multiple choice, True / False statement, specific-answer question etc.
• Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.
• Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration • Teams selected for the final rounds will be allowed to give themselves an appropriate name related to the competition by which they may want to be known.
• Any teams found violating rules or any indisciplinary action is noted that team will be disqualified without any prior notice.
Round 1: General Aptitude + Basic Technical [15 Questions + 15 Questions]
Time Limit: 30 Minutes
Rules:
• The questions will comprise of basic aptitude and basic technical question which will be common to all branches.
• A total of 30 points can be scored in this round, i.e., 1 point per question.
• The cut-off for qualifying for the next round is 18 points or above.
• The team failing to score 18 points or above will be eliminated.
Round 2: Technical Round [30 Questions]
Time Limit: 45 Minutes
Rules:
• The questions will be purely technical given branch-wise to the teams accordingly.
• A total of 60 points can be scored in this round, i.e., 2 points per question.
• Only ONE team with the highest score will be qualifying for the next round.
Round 3: The Genius Round
The top 5 teams from each particular branch will play this round.
Rules:
a. True or False –
• Each team will be asked 10 questions.
• A total of 50 points can be scored in this round, i.e., 5 points per question.
• The points of this round will be carried forward with no negative marking.
• A maximum of 10 seconds will be given to answer the question.

b. Buzzer – • 15 questions will be asked in this round.
• A total of 75 points can be scored in this round, i.e., 5 points per question.
• The team to press the buzzer first will be allowed to give the answer.
• If any team fails to give the correct answer after pressing the buzzer, 5 points will be deducted from their final score.
• If a team fails to give the correct answer, the question will be passed to the other teams pressing the buzzer secondly.
• The points of this round will be carried forward.
c. Jackpot –
• 3 questions will be asked in this round.
• The difficulty of the questions will increase gradually.
• First question will carry 10 points, second question will carry 20 and the third question will carry 30 points.
• The teams will be given a choice whether to play forward after their first and second question is answered.
• If any team fails to answer any question in this round, the final score of this round will be zero.
• Teams need to take the collective risk. A wrong step can convert the final score of this round as zero.
• A total of 60 points can be scored from this round.
• This round can change the momentum of the quiz.
d. Tie breaker (if the scores of teams are equal even after the jackpot, this round shall come in play) –
• In case of a tie, a buzzer question will be asked.
• The team to press the buzzer first will be allowed to give the answer.
The Hunter Games:
Rules & Regulations:
Round One: F.R.I.E.N.D.S –
It would comprise of a three legged race starting from the basketball court to main gate of ACET.
• Each leg of the member would be tied to one another.
• If the knot loosens they have to tie it back and complete it anyway.
• No elimination.
• The team reaching first gets the advantage.
Round Two: The ScAvengers –
Right after the team reaches the main gate they will be provided with an envelope consisting set of tasks which they need to complete to qualify for the next round.
• The teams will be provided with set of 12 tasks, out of which they need to complete 10 tasks as soon as possible.
• 6 tasks being mandatory they will get to choose 4 tasks from the other 6. • The first 10 teams reaching the college with each task completed properly would qualify to the next round right away.
• Teams are not allowed to get on their bikes. They need to walk around the college to complete the tasks. • Other teams will be eliminated.

Round Three: Game Of Troves –
The teams qualifying in the 2nd roun
d will be provided with set of clues to hunt the treasure. First team to decode the clues and claiming treasure will be declared as the winners directly.
• Teams will be provided with the set of routes which they will pick from the chit box.
• There will be 4 clues to which will lead to the final destination.
• Teams will travel around the college in the radius of 1 km on their vehicles.

• First team to claim the treasure will be declared as the winner.

General Instructions for Every Team –

• Team members MUST carry their helmets and a valid driving license.

• Any team found violating the traffic rules by our volunteers will be eliminated.

• Every team is responsible for their own damage. No liabilities on the college authorities or any other management body whatsoever.

• Team members must carry a minimum of Rs.50/-.

• The total vertical height of the structure will be restricted to a minimum 900mm.
• Time limit: 4 hrs
MATERIAL :-
• Ice cream sticks-350 nos
• Glue
• Cutter
NOTE :-
• No additional sticks will be provided.
• Use of special kinds of glues like fewi kwik, rivets and nails bonds etc. Is strictly prohibited. Use of such glue will lead to disqualification.
JUDGING CRITERIA :-
• Self weight of frame should not be exceeded.
• External load on ground floor will be standard.
• The dimensions of structures will be measured for satisfying the mentioned criteria during testing process
• External loading on a frame will be done by applying weighing weights gradually to the top most point/hanging load.
FAILURE CRITERIA :-
• Load at which the frame collapses will be considered as its failure load.
RULES :- • Once the framed structure is weighed, modification in frame will not be allowed.
• Team must report on specified time on registration desk.
• Team which is not ready at the time of testing will be disqualified on spot.
• Judges decision will be final and binding to all.
TEAM SPECIFICATION :-
• Maximum number of members in a team is restricted to 4.
ELIGIBILITY :-
• All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institute are eligible to participate in the event.
